Good to Know
Setting points can be a bit tricky if you haven’t done it before, but the included gauge takes the guesswork out of getting the gap just right. Take your time when installing and make sure the contact surfaces are clean—a little brake cleaner on a rag works great. If your distributor has been running rough for a while, it’s worth checking the distributor cap and spark plug wires too.
