When you’re changing oil on your tractor or truck, there’s no point cutting corners on the filter. Old oil gets thick and dirty from all the work you put your equipment through, and a quality filter is what keeps that grime from circulating back through your engine. Clean oil keeps your engine running smooth and protects those expensive internal parts from wear. This Baldwin P183 is the same quality filter that came on many of these machines from the factory.
What You’re Getting
- Compact design at 1 9/16 inches long with 3 3/16 inch outer diameter for tight engine compartments
- Anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the engine when you shut down, so you’ve got instant lubrication on startup
- Bypass valve ensures oil keeps flowing even if the filter gets plugged with debris
- Quality media that captures contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow
- Two attached end seals for reliable, leak-free installation
Built for Real Farm Work
This versatile filter works across agricultural equipment from Case, Caterpillar, Ford, International, and Massey Ferguson, plus it fits certain Chrysler and Ford automotive applications. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for daily chores, a loader for barn cleaning, or an older pickup truck for around the farm, this filter handles the demanding conditions these machines face every day.
Made to Last
Baldwin filters have been protecting engines for decades with quality media that captures contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow. The sturdy construction handles the pressure fluctuations and harsh conditions your equipment faces, while the reliable gasket ensures a leak-free seal.
Installation Notes
Apply a thin coat of clean oil to the gasket before installation, then hand-tighten three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening can damage the gasket and cause leaks. Change this filter with every oil change, typically every 200-250 hours or per your operator’s manual.
