Installation Notes
This spin-on filter threads directly onto the engine’s filter mount with standard hand tools. Before installing, clean the mounting surface and apply a thin coat of clean diesel fuel to the gasket. Hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn an additional 3/4 turn. Don’t over-tighten – it can damage the gasket and cause leaks.
