Good to Know
Change your oil filter every time you change the oil—it’s cheap insurance for expensive equipment. Before installing, apply a thin coat of clean oil to the gasket and hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn another 3/4 turn. Don’t over-tighten or you’ll damage the gasket and create leaks.
